Jamui polytechnic jamui was established in the year 2016 at Jamui (Station Road Khairma,Jamui) as a preferred center of scientific and technical education. The institute has been promoted by technocrats mission for education ammbition, a registered body under the Indian Trust Act. The Board of Governors of the trust comprises Educationists, J. P. Memorial Trust of India , Social Workers, and Philanthropists.

Since its establishment, the institute has grown and flourished rapidly and is today one of the most premier Diploma institutes of the State. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Government of Bihar(SBTE).
