I didn't know what to expect here, thinking we could go through it quickly and travel to our next destination. I was surprised how interesting the museum was. They have all sort of old farming, mining and communication machineries from the past 150 years. Some of the machineries were still in working condition. One of the highlights was the display of the Beaconsfield mine collapse when 3 miners were trapped underground for 2 weeks. The display gave us a idea on the size of tunnel and the rescue. We ended up spending about 3 hours at the museum and really enjoyed the experience.
