Bricklayers Arms

Great local pub doing nice food, good beer, and friendly people. We are visiting this village for a month, and were accepted here as "locals" right away. The beer is kept well. The food is good and reasonably priced. Their burgers are very good. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked appetizing. If you happen to be in Thornton, Leicestershire, give it a try. They are closed on Mondays.

Very nice pint of cider half way through our walk .
Great garden ideal for children . Not the most extensive lunch menu but adequate .
