What a sad experience. Food was just ok. Certainly not worth the grief experienced. Bartender was friendly, but the other patrons of the establishment ruined the whole experience, period. If you're not from there or don't know someone, be wary...this isn't a nice and kind place.

It's dark. It's gloomy. Sometimes its cold. But good grief the food is wonderful. If you are a burger person - THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. I have not had a bad thing on the menu yet. My strongest suggestion is to get the burger and macaroni bites. If you are in a lighter mood - the grilled chicken salad is delicious as well. Not a beef person? The chicken sandwich (grilled of course) is amazing.... smothered in cheese and grilled onions and deliciousness.... a little off the beaten path - but well worth it.

This hole in the wall is hands down the best burger place in Louisiana. It may look sketchy from the outside, but it's clean and comfortable inside. People watching is grand and you can come in from the waterfront and tie off at their dock or park by the door or across the street. The bar is always busy but the bartender is very attentive. There's also a jukebox and some game tables to enjoy while you wait for your food. There's nothing here that isn't great. The Beuche burger is a favorite, along with the Beuche chicken sandwich. Everything is so flavorful and hot and the service is very good. If you order the cheese fries, it's enough to feed about four people and fabulously greasy, so maybe share with a friend. We haven't tried the steaks yet but we hear they're a local legend!

They have great music that you can dance to or if you just want to listen. The food is excellent cook to perfection and highly seasoned. You can also park your boat at the pier and come in from the false river if you get thirsty or hungry. Great times happen at Bushes is you go on band night with great friends there ready to dance or listen to great music.

By far my favorite place to have a drink and get the BEST Club Sandwich in Louisiana or to order my steak to go for a night meal. A combination of your ol time great bar for locals & visitors, great food to eat there or to take out, friendly owners, Jacob & Melissa and my favorite cook, Pat who can make the best & greasiest french fries in the world, and boy are they good!! I feel at home every time I go there and just plain enjoy the chats and food. Jacob ruiz & Pat, what a great combination for success!!

Love love love this place! Great bar food, ALL is made fresh on site. Fun atmosphere and the owners are awesome!! Their grilled oysters are delicious (only Monday and Friday)

RUDE STAFF! Great views. Couldn't get our alcohol order correct despite asking three times.

Smoke filled place with lots of locals but the food was AMAZING!!! If you're looking for a chill place with a good view, I would recommend patio seating.. unless you don't mind the smoke.
