Stopped quickly to fuel up and use the restroom. Walking into the store all of the signs there basically say "we hate anyone who stops here" .
The signs point to what a customer CAN'T do instead of it being a welcoming stop to grab a snack and fuel up. We had a "bathroom warden" who came into the restroom while I was using it and turned off the water while I was waiting for the water to warm up. I said "I'm using that" the bathroom warden said "well our water bill is high here". I just turned the water back on and left the store in a hurry. The cashiers were very UNFRIENDLY. I will not stop here again. They need some customer service training for sure. But the bathroom was very clean!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 30, 2021
A very popular stop off the freeway. Gas was very reasonable. The store was quite crowded with customers. The bathroom was tiny with 2 stalls and the usual wait when crowded. Still we got in and out in the road quickly.

I would completely avoid this place, i transport vehicles so pass through here often i never really noticed the pumps, but today the pump charged me almost 2 dollars before i even pressed the nozzle. I was at a half tank (48 gallon tank) put in $100 at "$4.89" and my gauge is a little over 3/4 full. Thief's for sure. Last time i stop here.

My opinion is very limited as my stop here was very quick. Shop worker was friendly to customers, although that could just because the small town vibes. Store was very small in comparison to others, which limited my capacity for a stroll.
The unfortunate thing about this place was the bathroom. There was only one bathroom available, so a few people from my party of 10 had to take one for the team, and pass on this round. The toilet seemed to suffer in the flushing department and the door really struggled to close, make for a stressful bathroom experience. I have to say, the employees have definitely done the best they could with what they have, but the building size severely limits the potential for both an ornate and exquisite bathroom experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Jan 11, 2020Previous reviewMy opinion is very limited as my stop here was very quick. Since they had a very small and unworthy selection of sodas, bought a small bottle of water that came to $1.83. Clerk handed me back $2.00. "Change shortage" was the explanation. "You don't have to post anything about it before taking our extra money?" I asked. Was answered with a shrug. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It is over-priced and not well stocked. Plus, ya know - they rob you without explanation.

I stopped in to pick up some snacks and use the restroom. The woman behind the counter began yelling at me claiming I had gotten gas at the station across the street (I hadn't) and refused to let me use the facilities. I couldn't believe how rude she was and I'll never go back. You really have to wonder what's wrong with these people.

If only I could rate this place 0 stars.
So Corey who is working the Crossroads gas station in Raton, NM doesn't know his own state law. Children under 3 are not required to wear a mask. My sister's littler girl literally turned 2 today. Today is her birthday. She would not keep a mask on. She needed a diaper change, and he refused to let my sister in because Sadie would not wear a mask. She also has been struggling with car sickness. We demonstrated for him that she would not wear one. He asked for an ID for Sadie which of course we don't have on hand because what 2 year old has an ID other than a birth certificate which you don't ever keep in your car? We showed him the law that we looked up. Crazy that traveling Texans are smart enough and capable enough to look up the law, but this man was not. We also showed him the date of her birth on Facebook. He still refused to let her in when everyone else was complying and wearing a mask.
So, do me a favor, and don't stop at Crossroads when traveling through Raton, NM. Also, he refused let us speak to a manager, and said she wouldn't be in until Monday. I'm pretty sure a manager has to be available at all times. I guess this gas station doesn't like following many laws.
Well, we will be sure to talk to the manager on Monday and make sure they uphold their own state law.
Happy Birthday Sadie! What a crazy world we live in today!

The guy at the counter was a complete jerk. His air pressure machine ended up letting air from out tires instead of filling them. We asked for a refund and he belittled is saying we don't know how to fill our tires up. Don't waste your time or money here.

A year later and still their bathrooms don't work and half their pumps are out of service!!! Tried to give them a second chance. Never again.
