We had the opportunity to visit this location again this summer. Still a great hotel with wonderful staff. During this stay we took advantage of the breakfast and it was one of the best we had while in Europe. It was a typical European buffet full of meats, cheeses, and bread. Everything was fresh and tasty. The wait staff were accommodating and made our stay most enjoyable. The location of this hotel is virtually in the center of everything, so it makes for an ideal location when strolling through Brugge.

This hotel was one of our favorites on our last trip to Europe. The hotel has a great location and is a short walk to the main town square. It's off the main drag a bit, so you get a little bit of privacy. There are tons of great shops and restaurants nearby. The property is modern yet still retains a bit of that old European feel. The bed was super comfortable and I really enjoyed the complimentary bottles of mineral water in the room. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The only downsides is that when we were there in December, the room was stifling hot. We had to keep the windows open in order to stay comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a lot of street noise from the late-night drinkers and street sweepers. Voices really carry in this town, so if you are a light sleeper it's a good idea to bring ear plugs. Other than that, we had a great stay! You can't go wrong with this hotel!

Great stay at the Crowne. Room had a great view, clean and updated. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. If you get the opportunity, tour the basement/foundation it is full of history. I will definitely stay here when I come back! Enjoy!!

Perfect location to enjoy the beautiful and romantic Bruges...right in the city center, few steps from the city townhall. Very nice rooms, spacious, huge welcoming bed, comfortable bathroom with big shower. Clean...water and coffee complimentary in the room. Rich breakfast buffet. Elegant common areas, computer available for the guests. Staff friendly and professional. A good place to spend your nights in Bruges.

This is a very nice hotel that is just a short walk to the main square but right next to the other square with the city hall and church with the Holy Blood.

I have a really good room that overlooks the park outside. The room is very comfortable, super clean, a television with a few BBC stations, so English tv no problem. The room also has a kettle to make some tea or instant coffee. Nice sized bathroom with soaps, shampoos, etc. Best thing, since I am here for a conference, is that there is an ironing board and iron in the closet in the room, which is a lot better than having to go and ask for one each time I want to iron a shirt.

The breakfast is ok too; they do hard boiled eggs, scrambled and also something that looks like an omelette but cut into small pieces. Also there are hash browns, sausages, bacon, mushrooms and fried tomatoes. There is also some fruit and cereals.

Its really a nice hotel in a great location.

We arrived in Brugge on a race day during the fair. We were not aware of the race until the taxi driver outside the train station told us "impossible to take you to your hotel" because of the race. So armed with a smart phone and apps, we trudged through town to the hotel. We encountered no barriers that would have precluded the driver from getting us to our destination. Maybe it was too short of a trip for him to bother? Well, the money was better in our pocket than in his, so be it.

Within 20 minutes we entered the hotel. The phrase "location, location, location" came immediately to mind. We were on the square just steps away from the central market. The hotel is clean and modern on the inside, and the outside motif does not make it seem out of place in this very old city. The staff was professional, and the rooms are well appointed. If traveling in this region again, I would not hesitate to stay here again

Crowne Plaza may be IHG's "4*" brand but I've encountered quite some variability over the years. This one is probably the best I've sampled - excellently located in on the corner of Burg square, which means you're within a very short walk of the plethora of sightseeing, dining, drinking and shopping options this town has to offer.

In addition to properly sized rooms (sometimes a challenge in Brugge) with modern facilities (aircon, free WiFi, flat screen TV with VOD), it also offers some "nice to have" touches that you don't always get (e.g. bathrobes in rooms, its own indoor pool). Service was professional and friendly.

I got a free upgrade to a corner suite overlooking Burg - great views from both sleeping and sitting areas.

During a surprise trip to sleepy, romantic and incredibly charming Bruges, I had no idea where we'd be staying. Originally, I had hoped for a very quaint b&b but when I saw the price tag, I left my BF with the choice. When we arrived to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and got out of our cab, I'm pleased to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

First, if you're going to Bruges, it's nice to be central to everything. You don't have to go far to find great restaurants, chocolate shops, bars and you're a short (I'm talking extremely brief) walk from the main square and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. The room was extremely well appointed, warm and comfortable. Whether we needed help and asked the the staff the same questions a thousand times (out of confusion of where things were and how one would actually get there) or needed the perfect place to pass out post one-too-many Belgian beers (so good!) and frites, Crowne Plaza was the perfect place. The service was attentive when we needed it, no one made any noise, nothing was out of place and everything was immaculately clean. We couldn't have asked for more for our stay and can't wait to go back and re-live one of our most memorable trips to date.

Centrally located hotel, a short stroll from the main town square. There is a convenient underground self park car park facility, with a lift that opens into the lobby area. Decent room size, two queen size doubles will house a family of 4 although the bathroom is a bit of a squeeze.

For starters the location of this hotel is perfect. In fact there are probably only a handful of other hotels in as good of a location.

The room was average on the space and the comfort. The bathroom had practically no lighting. There were two small light bulbs in the bathroom. The toilet area is a small room off the main part of the bathroom didn't even offer a light.

      The internet was below average.

The service was not good. The staff was never outright rude, but they were not the slightest bit pleasant or helpful.

The food at the grossly overpriced breakfast is below average.

I would recommend this hotel to others, but only due to the location.
