Anyone in Maryland and interested in attending? No one should be put to rest alone. I'm planning on going to Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.

"The Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) will hold four dignified burial ceremonies for unaccompanied veterans who honorably served our nation.
Secretary Woods stated, "It is our solemn responsibility to support Maryland Veterans and it is our honor to be able to provide a final recognition and a dignified resting place to those who served our state and nation. We are grateful to the partnership we have with the Maryland Anatomy Board to make sure no Veteran is left behind or left unaccompanied".

All ceremonies will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024

Crownsville Veterans Cemetery is a beautiful setting and the grounds are meticulously maintained. My dad is buried here and I visit yearly. Each visit is anticipated, and I am never disappointed because his site is always well-maintained. I have attended the Veterans Day ceremonies and they have always exceeded my expectations with speakers, programs, etc... I am pleased we chose this place for my father to continuously be recognized, appreciated, and honored. The staff is always caring and kind.

We entrusted our fathers ashes here in 2018 and we couldn't have picked a better place. They take very good care of the grounds and treated the family with respect and kindness when we needed them.

I have visited Crownsville several times and found it to be an absolutely beautiful place, and well maintained. The staff is very freindly and helpfull. The tress are spectactular in the Spring!

Beautiful property. Grounds well maintained since I've been going there for almost ten years. The staff has always been kind and courteous.

Losing a Loved one is not easy and never will be. But Veterans worked with my family and gave us much needed peace of mind after our loss. The grounds is clean and well kept, and years after they are still there to help you.

A beautiful setting located just outside of Annapolis. The grounds are well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. I visit my family and friends there often.
