Ibis Budget Brugge Centrum Station scores a 4 star for convenient as it is located right next to the train station.

If you have an early train to catch, I highly recommend this hotel. Note: My train was at 6:20 am to BRU.

The set up of the room though is a little awkward. The shower stall and the sink both set up in an open area inside the room and the toilet is set up inside a cardboard like box.

Talking about basic, there is this paper thin bath towel and nothing else. Note: no hair dryer.

The price though was really reasonable and I was just here for 1 night.

Don't know why people are ragging on this hotel. Its cheap and serves the purpose. Hotel was clean was well. Only gripe is that it is a pretty long walk from the hotel to the center of the town (took anywhere from 15-20 minutes). However it definitely is a budget hotel. You can't just rate something 1 star if you chose to pay less. This is a budget option and should be evaluated with other budget options, not the 4 Seasons or Hilton across the street. Additionally, as long as I don't get bed bugs, and decent rest, I think the hotel serves its purpose.

Showers are basically in the room and only divided by opaque glass that doesnt reach the ceiling.

      Toilets have their own door.

Good location for a cheap price.

We had a room for 3 people and it was 49 euros. It's located right next to the train station and around 15 min walk from the center of brugges.

The staff was nice and friendly.

The beds were clean and confortable. Our main issue was the washroom because it's basically non existent. The shower and the sink is right next to the beds with no walls separating them so you basically have to walk out of the shower naked or get dressed inside of it. When you're alone it's fine but when you share the room with other people, it can be quite uncomfy.

If you want a cheap hotel and don't mind showering in the bedroom I guess it's ok.

If you are looking for a budget hotel in Brugge, then I recommend that you stay at the Ibis Budget Brugge Centrum Station. It's one of the cheapest hotels in Brugge. I should know, I shopped around. This hotel is at a prime location, just around the corner from the train station and less than a half mile's walk from the city center.

The lobby is small, bright, and quaint. There is a community computer in the lobby, which surprisingly was often available. Check in was quick and painless. Our room was small, but of course, you get what you paid for. Aside from its size, it's clean cheerful. Everything seems to be compact with the sink and shower separate. The sink is on the outside, near the bed and door, while the shower is adjacent to the sink. The shower is very simple and small, just an enclosed room with a door. The shower head is cool though, with its neon lights. Since the room is so small, there isn't a lot of room to change in there, so you are most likely going to have to change outside of the shower.

Looking out of our window, we can see the platform for the train. It's pretty neat! As previously stated, with its prime location, it's a short walk to the city center and shopping and restaurants. When we were there, we got up early to walk around the city. It was unbelievably peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend that you stay here. I don't see a reason to pay more when this cheaper place is just as good.

The worst. The place is like a space age miniature dentists office. Every light is more blinding than the last. The floors are sticky with disinfectant and the beds have hospital sheet bottoms with comforter tops. Our view looks out over 75 loud tracks. Don't worry, the trains run all night. The glow-in-the-dark lime green walls can keep you awake if the trains screeching below lull you into slumber. Also, not a place for mother-son getaway, the shower stall in the bedroom is quite transparent. At least there is a hand soap dispenser in the shower for tomorrow's lustrous glow.

This is a reasonable hotel in quite an expensive town. Right above the ugly train station area, it is only 15 minutes walk from altogether more pleasant views.

Unusually for Brugge, the staff are actually quite friendly..perhaps too so; I was given a detailed account of various attractive bike rides in and around the area, even though I didn't ask and had no intention of substituting my feet with wheels.

The shower cubicle is in the bedroom..and it is see through so it is preferable that you be already intimately familiar with your roommate, to avoid embarrassment. The rooms are very nice, compact and modern.

We spent one night at the hotel while visiting Brugge. The room itself was great: probably the most efficient hotel room either of us have experienced. There were no frills, but for the price, it was an excellent room. My only complaint was that the placement of the toilet (in a sort of closet with no lock) meant that there was zero privacy - fine if you're by yourself, but a little awkward if you're not alone. The room was very efficient; the service was not. I'm sure the evening staffers put up with a lot of nonsense from other guests, but the woman working the desk was pretty rude to us. Oh well: you get what you pay for.
