We live around the corner and have been many times since we moved here. They are always friendly, are well stocked, can order quickly if needed, and are community oriented. Their family centered days with food and fun are appreciated.

this used to be a good store with lots of items to pick from but now it's just turning into an overpriced delivery message for a chain store, you got to watch the price as many items you go to the register and the price is higher than what's marketed and even though they've been notified about it they don't do anything about it despite the fact that it's against the Virginia consumer protection laws. it's just a shoddy way of doing business and being overworked and underpaid is no excuse if that is in fact the case. it's too bad because this used to be a great store and is a great asset to the Jarrett community

What a blessing to have Jarratt Hardware! This is not a big box store with millions of items. But what they do have is excellent staff that can answer your questions and walk with you to the items you need. They have a good selection of plumbing and electrical items, gardening implements, household items, paint, seasonal items, and much more. If they don't have something in stock, they can usually get it in just a few days. They even offer small engine repair! They either know you or get to know you - they care about their customers and community.

There is no need to drive 30-40 minutes each way to a big box store where you can't find help and you are just a nameless face. Shop local for great service and selection.

Jarrett hardware is the best hardware store south of norfolk. This place everything you need to get a job a done. They have a well trained, knowledgable, and friendly staff. Go visit them for any home improvement needs you may have.
