Such a nice place for local residents. Need to be a smithtown resident to go. Sometimes they check sometimes they don't. Relaxing, calming place to be

Absolutely beautiful view of the beach! The trails are relatively easy. My 3 kids (3, 5 and 10) enjoyed the walk so much, especially they loved climbing rocks by the beach. There seemed lots of poison ivy nearby the trail, but should be fine if you stay on the path. My 3 kids (3, 5 and 10) had no issues finished the trail. The parking space for non-residents are so limited, so I suggest to go early.

Quiet, clean spot to go walking, fishing, kayaking, boating. My kids and I enjoy this spot any season and time of day.

Perfect place to watch the sunset and sunrise. Ideal for a day at the park with friends, family and loved ones.

Beautiful, "hidden" spot, in an area you might just miss like we did... (Yelp's directions are WRONG, ask a local, or use google maps!!!) but DEFINITELY worth a visit. You've got to go off season, if you're not a resident of Smithtown, but I personally think it's a bonus to just about have the place to yourself on a cold, crisp off-season visit, as we did, than to try to fight the crowds. My friends fish here in warmer weather, and there's a great boat ramp, though kayak and canoe launching is not allowed (boo!!) Nearby Nissequogue River State Park is a great choice for the smaller stuff. There are several hiking trails, a restaurant that apparently is only open summer months, and beautiful views!! No bluffing... This is a BEAUTIFUL spot, and definitely worth a visit!!!

Grew up in Kings Park and returned to live here about 12 years ago. I swear the same gang is hanging up at the Bluff. Great spot to kick back and look at the Sound.

I was driving around kings park, and thought I would check this place out as I am always looking for adventure. The directions were off so i decided to continue down to the water past an old crumbling hospital only to end up by the water at this boat ramp with this amazing view. I decided to go up to the upper park lot where there were trails and a sign saying bluffs so I assumed I arrived...and it was well worth it. I climbed up these bluffs and was rewarded with the views I illustrated in my pics.

Beautiful views. On a clear day you can see Connecticut. Drive up, park and take it in. Boating permitted here too. Living in the area I've come here my whole life. Summertime it gets very packed with boaters coming in/out. Also in season you have to show your Town of Smithtown resident pass.
