      I would give it 3.5 .. not 3 :)

First time and went to it based on google reviews .. it was good and bad :) the grilled chicken with rice and bean was good .. tasted good with the spicy sauce..
but the chicken over rice wasn't good :(. They put too much of Peas and it didn't taste well overall . Even the chicken was dry . I didn't like it much .. we also ordered empanada and it was awesomeeee .. tasted fresh and like home made :) overall an average experience..

      Excellent food and service.

      1) The Bandeja Paisa was excellent.
      2) The price is reasonable.
      3) I loved the sauces. The hot sauce to the pink sauce.

      Bandeja Paisa.

Every time I come here I get fresh amazing food. Needed some good hangover food so came here for the bandeja paisa. It comes with rice, beans, steak, plantains, chorizo and chicharon. All that for $12 (noches de Colombia charges 18 for lesser quality)! I've had the fried fish here as well and it's yummy. The waitresses are polite and the place is small but cozy and clean. If your looking for good local food for a great price, then this is the spot.

This place unfortunately, fell off the chain for me. The typical death for a really good restaurant who changes owners. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I gave this place three chances only because it used to be my favorite local joint. But each time it failed miserably. From really cold sanchoco soup while dining in and having pretty bad service , to receiving your favorite take out (lomo saltado) order lacking what made this place divine. There was no trace of the charcoal taste in any of the food. In fact, it tasted as if it were boiled. That was the last straw.

I loved the empanadas here. So much that one Christmas I special ordered 20 uncooked empanadas to bring down to my sister who was living down south back then. They were very accommodating and also prepared a whole bowl full of the aji. The sad part is to buy some now you almost have to be lucky. They are always gone no matter what time I go or simply they have not even started making them.

It's too bad what happened here but it's a very common ending for small type restaurants. Que pezar.

I came in for a lunch special. I was told it came with rice, salad and sweet plantain. I asked if I could have yuca rather than plantains. She said I would have to get a side order of it, which I agreed to. When the dish came out there was yuca and potatoes on it. I glanced around and saw that other people with my same special plates had yuca. I asked the server politely why they didn't tell me the special had yuca. Her answer (condescending) I'm not in the kitchen I don't know what they serve. She told the owner about it. And the owner said. Ohhh well that's her problem She can give the yuca away. So I loudly said across the restaurant, yup that's what I'll do. The food isn't all that. Go to PEDROS COSTILLAS, next door better food better service! Ohhh and shredded iceberg lettuce is what they call a salad.
