Dreary wet evening, kind of makes it hard to wonder off looking for a restaurant. We opted to eat here, due to proximity of the hotel.
Actually the 2nd time we have come here. As we were staying at the boutique hotel, across the street.
Opted for grilled sirloin, fried sirloin & French fries. As we were wanting comfort food. One thing I will say is the meats are cooked medium rare, juicy & hot! I enjoyed every steak bite along with the better than McDs French Fries! Word of advice don't ask for ketchup! They will call you out for not trying the fries without ketchup. The French fries large order easily feeds 2, if you decide to share. Crispy & freshly fried, delicious!
Will mention they offer alcohol drinks that are pretty tasty!
Could easily eat here again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Marty S.San Clemente, CA1182Oct 15, 2023
This was one of the best meals we had on our trip to Spain and Portugal. The name looks as though they serve seafood so I was totally happy. Having not studied the Portuguese language for more than 5 minutes I let the waiter order for me, I truly had no clue what words were on the menu. I told him I liked fish and what came out did not disappoint. The food was extremely flavorful and I could not have been happier with my dinner. If my mom didn't raise me properly I'd have picked up my bowl of tomato based shellfish whatever it was and gulped it down.
The only problem with the restaurant was they didn't charge enough money. We went there to get rid of all these silly euro coins that were jingling around in our pockets and the entire meal cost only 35.00 euros for us both.
Summary is , go here when in Lisbon. Yes it's out of the way uptown near the Lisbon Comedy Club. But it's just off the subway and you will not be disappointed.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1683731570Jun 3, 2022
Get off the beaten path and eat where the locals eat! This place was packed and clearly was a favorite for the menu of the day for all locals. They have a large dining area inside and a smaller outside area which could be waiting for a very long time so head on in and enjoy the old school restaurant! We had thought we knew what we wanted but then the waiter came over and said he was happy to take that order but if we truly wanted a more authentic Portuguese dish we should switch it up. We were very pleased! So go with the waiter's suggestions and be adventurous. Get yourself a mini beer to wash it down!

What's not to like? Delicious food and nice relaxed ambiance -we ordered two of the specials which were salmon and the arroz cherne.
The restaurant was busy with everyone enjoying their meal. No complaints-highly recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stella B.Lehi, UT01421Apr 6, 2022
Oh my gosh I crave this daily.
We went here on a Sunday night super late and nothing else was open.
I ordered the arroz de marisco which was like a soup with all this seafood in it. Literally best thing I've ever had. So good
The cod was alright. Nothing special. The potatoes on the other hand were delicious and soft and flavorful.

The waiter was manic. Appetizer was delicious. I ordered a steak and it was inedible, so tough. When I complained I was told I should have ordered the other steak but when I asked why he serves a tough cut of meat I got no response. He said next time order the filet mignon. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Wow! Everything from the service to the food was excellent. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by a friendly waiter. We got the Robalinho and Groupa was amazing! Fresh fresh fish. My parents came back here 2 days In a row and they are from Portugal so they know a good dish when they taste one. They introduced me to this place and if you come around 6-7 they are pretty dead. But around 8 it starts getting busy. They are closed on Saturday's.

Cute local spot with great staff and pretty good food. We don't speak Portuguese but we had a great time with our waiter. Super hilarious guy. Seems like a typical local restaurant with fresh food made. You'll see the seafood displayed in cases.
Food was pretty good, depending on what you had. Lots of potatoes like the typical Portuguese way (you may or may not like that). Some dishes were typical and some were quite great (e.g. the steak and the trout meuniere both had great sauces full of yummy butter!)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
