Officeworks

In Cannington Branch although I had , Initially a bad / poor experience ,luckily Ryan " came to the rescue "to help me ,by listening and undertook to help me ( something that a previous colleague did not / was NOT willing to do !!!!
I disclose that I have NO connection with Ryan ,familial or otherwise .
Officeworks took my money 2 days ago ( online )... but then the first ( lady ) receiving my call ( to see if the product was in store ,for me was NOT willing to enter my mobile phone number to " disclose " / find the item ordered !!!
Something is Seriously Wrong with the training ,of staff at Officeworks .

Like I say ,Ryan " CAME TO THE RESCUE" .

EMCS ...OFFICEWORKS CUSTOMER OF 20 YEARS !!!

Wouldn't price match the product "speakers" I wanted even with a picture of a receipt of another price match from another Officeworks, Didn't even care about beating it by 5% off, I just wanted the damn same price!

Basicly if the price of a rival site "Eb Games" is too good, they won't price match it.

I came looking for a travel adapter which I had purchased previously from a different Officeworks.

Having found in previously near the checkout, I looked there first, and then I searched up and down all the aisles related to electrical products, without success.

Despite obviously wandering up and down the same aisles over and over, no one asked if they could help. Staff seemed to be in short supply. I ended up lining up at the checkout - where just one operator was serving people - to ask where to find it. She told me off the top of her head 2 possible aisle numbers (next to each other), in quite a different part of the store. She was right; I'd never have found it without her help.

If be reluctant to return to this store unless I was in the area; I've found other Officeworks stores have been better staffed / had staff actually asking if they can help.

Went into Officeworks Cannington the other day and couldn't find what I was looking for despite having purchased the same product last year and the year before. I asked one of the girls to help me and she said it's just in isle #bla. When we walked to that isle her excuse was that she was till new. I asked her to speak with someone who could help us then and so we proceeded to the front desk. We asked another girl who said yer thats in isle #blah....
My reply "I Know what isle it should be in however we can't find what we're looking for!!! Do you think we could look it up on the computer to see if you have any in stock!!" UGH
When I grumbled under my breath another lady said "Can we help you".. YES..How hard is it to get good customer service these days! "Sorry we're busy was the reply!
To which my response was "I don't care how busy you are customer service is customer service! Clearly lacking in this place today! I've had better customer service. Clearly these employers are not teaching their staff how to treat customers and what they expect. Officeworks Cannington....epic FAIL on that occassion!
