We just randomly stopped here for an overnight as we made our road trip west. The owners were WONDERFUL and welcoming and had excellent dinner suggestions!
I saw a review wherein the reviewer complained about the decor, but come on...it's an historic hotel owned by individuals. If you want the corporate experience, go find a Hilton or something.
Yes, it's old...but that's the charm. Our room was immaculate, the perfect temperature, the shower and tub were great and the bed was super comfy. What more do you need?
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Twyla Y.Calgary, Canada113269515Jul 24, 2015
can't complain! the price was right ($79) and the room was clean enough. small TV and loud air conditioner, but at least they had an air conditioner! they didn't have a blow dryer though. the lady at the front desk was super nice. and the hotel is situated only steps from a bunch of fun bars! I'd stay again, lots of history in this place. as well as a lounge & casino! make sure you stay in the hotel part, not the Olive Motel across the street.

This casino is in the The Olive Hotel but has it's own door to main street. The casino is very nice, this part of the hotel was remodeled for the card-room and casino. The inside is clean and the staff are awesome when to comes to drinks and to help cash out your tickets.
