Rest Area No. 14

At first glance, this rest area can be deceiving. There are multiple parking lots/areas for semis and those of us pulling RV trailers. I actually got a little bit lost when I came out of the restrooms. Granted it was nighttime but the place is well lit. I must have made a wrong turn somewhere.

It is a bit confusing but kudos to Georgia. They know how to do rest areas. AND they provide a lot of them on I-75 as they should because it is a very popular route to Florida. At this location especially plus the three others I stopped at they are maximizing the parking spaces available. Georgia is ahead of the game and other states should follow their lead. Did you know Indiana built a brand new interstate (I-69) between Evansville and Indianapolis and it has zero rest areas? Boo, hiss, boo. I don't want to take an exit and deal with local traffic while I'm trying to find a place to rest. Thank you very much Georgia for providing so many large rest areas and maintaining them so well.

Georgia does well with highway rest areas and this one is no exception. Located on I-75 between Macon and Valdosta, it has a tremendous amount of room for trucks. The entrance has one of the features I particularly appreciate when it's designed into highway rest stops - a sweeping curve and a 90 degree corner. This definitely helps to force drivers to slow down before they come into the parking area at highway speeds.

Restrooms were clean. Vending machines were stocked. A more than decent stop.

My dog and I have stopped here many times to eat our lunch and walk around. It is generally clean and there is plenty of parking. There is also a lot of green space to roam around with your dogs. They recently added more trees near the parking lot which is awesome for additional shade!

The most recent time we stopped, last Sunday, the bathrooms were closed and I don't think I saw a single sign on the highway that said they were closed - so that was a bummer.

Went in around 8:45 am there was someone in there cleaning and it was very clean! That's what you want fresh and clean!

Disgusting and no toilet paper. I do not recommend stopping at this rest area. Also No soap to wash your hands

This rest area offers a good amount of parking and is pretty well maintained. It is a good place to get off of the interstate and stretch your legs and just take a moment to get off the highway and allow yourself a break from the road.

Do Not Stop Here!!!! Nasty restrooms, only 2 stalls had toilet paper which created a horrible line for women waiting. Go a few exits down & find a QT instead!

This is the worlds worst rest stop . I really wish a tornado would hit it so that it's no longer in existence. This rest stop is probably the reason COVID is still a thing. There was no social distancing being enforced or any signs recommending it. The restrooms were crowded and filthy. Nasty old people stomping around and sticky floors with trash on them. They need some matinence in here ASAP! The hand soap smelled like death, and the water smelled like sulfur. The facility itself was nasty with a tiny parking lot, cracked pavement , and no where nice to relax because it's so crowded . I will never come here again , and I hope it shuts down. Stay away.

Don't stop here! Trash everywhere, restroom doors were locked and everyone was sharing one family bathroom. Don't waste your time. The rest area didn't even have signage saying the bathrooms weren't open. No one was around cleaning them and it looked like the family bathroom was only open because someone broke the door handle.
