Vargas Orthodontics

I left a review last week regarding Dr Vargas. My review of Dr Vargas has mysteriously vanished from Yelp. So I'm submitting it again. I will continue to submit this review if they continue to pull it.

I had a very bad experience as a new patient consult. Dr Vargas wanted x rays and photos before we had even spoken. I explained to Dr Vargas' nurse that I did not want I have X-rays because I most likely already had what he needed. I then said that if after I spoke to Dr Vargas and he still needed xrays and/or photos I would be happy to have them.

I was coming to Dr Vargas because I have a major mouth reconstruction that needs to happen due to a congenital birth defect. My prosthodontist explained that the first step in my reconstruction is Invisalign on my bottom teeth, to push them back so he can do reconstruction on the top of my mouth. I explained all of this in detail to Dr Vargas' nurse.

Dr Vargas came into the room and stood across from me with a glare. He explained to me that there was probably nothing he could do for me because I did not allow his nurse to take X-rays / photos and that I was telling her I needed Invisalign and telling her how it would all go. He said there was miscommunication. I explained there was no miscommunication - I just didn't want to have unnecessary / replicative X-rays before having spoken to the doctor about my specific situation and making sure this was something he could do. I also explained if after we spoke he still thought it necessary for me to have the X-rays and photos, I would. I just wanted a conversation first.

He said again there was nothing he could do for me. I have seen many doctors for my birth defect over the years, and I have never felt so uncomfortable, ever. Dr Vargas did his best to try and shame me and make me feel like I had done something wrong. I had not. I just have a complicated situation and needed a conversation before moving forward with X-rays and photos. This is not a crime and it does not make me a bad person.

I eventually got up and left due to how very very uncomfortable Dr Vargas made me.

I do not recommend this doctor.

I can't thank enough Dr. Vargas and his wonderful and warm team for the excellent care they provide. They truly go above and beyond!

Patient, experienced, trustworthy doctor - I'm seriously considering starting the treatment. Professional and very friendly staff.

Five stars for all of the STARS who work at Vargas Orthodontics! The professionalism, care, and dedication to their patients is felt each time we are there or on the phone. Genuine, honest people who are patient with my daughter and have always responded to her with kindness. I recommend Dr Vargas and his staff 100%!

The dentist office recommended Dr Vargas as the perfect orthodontist for an adult (he also works with children). The entire staff was professional, friendly and very helpful. Dr Vargas was informative and helpful in assisting me in making my decision of getting the braces without any pressure. Hopefully it will all work out in the end. In the meantime, kudos to everyone at Vargas Orthodontics.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vargas for many years. It began with both my girls at a young age going through consultations and having Dr. Vargas make the necessary corrections so that as they got a bit older they were ready for braces. His time and patience proved to be worthwhile as the girls are now young ladies with beautiful smiles.
During all these visits I grew to appreciate Dr. Vargas and his staff; their professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. I was impressed so much that at 40 years young I finally took the plunge and decided to finally straighten my teeth. Its not easy as an adult to go through the process, but Dr. Vargas and his team always made me feel comfortable. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have made; I am extremely happy with the results and have a confident smile.
If you are thinking of hiring an orthodontist - you need to look no further!

I had Invisalign with this office and did my homework in area before hand! First off best prices compared to other offices, then to top the girls in the office are the sweetest, caring individuals! The doctor isn't so bad himself either ha ! He's a great guy who listens to your needs and helps you along the process! Visits are quick and easy with a minimal wait time if ever a wait! I wish this was my regular dentist office too! I feel so comfortable from the first visit and will be sad when I'm done with my liners and will miss everyone! Highly recommend checking them out for any Ortho need!
