Wellard Park

In love with this place.
In loooove. I was so afraid to move down into a less than reputable place.
However, I love it. The sense of community here is amazing. I'm a 5 minute walk to the shops, 3 minute walk to the train and 10 minute drive to the freeway.
The village is now open with some great and very convenient stores such as Woolworths, Priceline, red dot, BWS, a family practice and a few more health beauty and fast foods/cafes. I would never leave this place if I didn't need a job to stay here.
This review however is about the amazing surrounds. Walking through the village is so pleasant. There is an abundance of greenery and wildlife preserves (there's even man made possum shelters in the trees) there's a wonderful walk way through the bushes near the oval near the main drag. Every couple hundred of meters there's a gym set where you can use your own body weight to work out. Me and my neighbour have taken to working out down this trail as well as doing some workouts in the oval. It's all kept in great condition and you are always bound to bump into people from all walks of life. I love it.
