The temple has among its glories the Altarpiece, the old Main Altar, built in 1680, in a Baroque and Plateresque Renaissance style and a baptismal font carved in rustic marble made in 1708.

On June 23, 1941, Bishop Ernesto Gutiérrez was appointed Pastor of Telpaneca. To him they attribute the merit of the construction of the front of the temple, the dome of the presbytery and the acquisition of many images that today are the object of veneration among the faithful. The Frontis includes an elegant terrace from where you get a panoramic view of the entire town. At the front of the tower was placed a clock with a mechanism of weights and ropes that signals the time with bell sounds, every quarter of an hour, ordered from Germany.

At the top of the tower was placed an image of Christ the King made of artificial stone that was brought from Spain and that was painted for the first time in the traditional colors of Christ the King in March 2004.
