ABOUT

ABOUT THE LINNEY

Accommodation

The split-level accommodation is beautifully converted and packed with character, with exposed wooden beams and wooden flooring. The wood-burner is at the heart of this home from home, perfect for warming up after a walk along the nearby stunning coastline. A canopied king-size bed is tucked away next to a small but perfectly formed en-suite with shower. The kitchen is fully kitted out with dishwasher, microwave, electric hob/oven, and washing machine. Seasonal fresh flowers from our garden and refreshing tea-tray welcome you upon your arrival. We can provide fresh bread, cream tea, homegrown vegetables and fruit from the garden (in season) upon request. Ecover kitchen products, linen and towels are all provided along with bathroom essentials, which means that you only have to bring yourselves to enjoy a tranquil break.

Grounds

The garden is there to be enjoyed, and there are plenty of spaces and hidden places to relax, eat breakfast and read in the sunshine outside. We can provide a barbecue if you want to cook en plein air. The large garden and orchards are shared with us, so you may see us pottering around in the vegetable patch or feeding the animals.

Us

We live in the farmhouse on the other side of the yard to the Linney. We aim to live with the smallest footprint and we welcome you to Middle Langdon to unwind and enjoy a retreat. Pete is a musician and if you visit the local pub on Monday nights, you are likely to hear The Littleham Howlers in full throat!

Thank you Pete and Vicki for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage, we had a lovely week. Just what we needed, peace and quiet, but still with plenty of things to see and do in the area. A very cosy cottage with a lovely woodburner, a very comfortable stay well recommended.
