MIKE sTUD BIOGRAPHY
Mike Seander JR. was born October 30, 1988 to a middle class family in Cranston, Rhode Island. In 2006 he graduated from St. Raphael Academy with varsity letters in baseball and basketball. Out of the two, Mike would find more success on the baseball diamond. His senior year he was named Gatorade Player of the Year in Rhode Island for baseball. After high school Mike committed to Duke University in North Carolina. In his Sophomore year, Mike suffered from arm issues that forced him to have Tommy John surgery. To pass time after the surgery Mike rapped for fun, little did he know it would start a new career. As a joke, he posted the music video to his first song (College Humor) to his YouTube channel December 2010. As the video blew up on the internet, Mike posted a new song (In this Life) 1 month following College Humor, which received even better feedback. Both music videos today have over 1 million views. Fast forward 3 years, after getting his college degree in sports management, he is now on the come up in the rapping community. He released his first album, Relief, on May 13th, 2013 which was on the Itunes most downloaded album for 3 days, a long time for somebody of his low popularity. He is planning on releasing another album in the near future, which will probably be a big hit.
