Our 27 Ton Log splitter was stolen off our property about a month ago. Black Diamond brand. Obviously some bad actors are in the neighborhood these days. This was at 37 Forest Hill, within 50 feet of CO 46.

Just a heads up to our Dory Lakes neighborhood! Both of our vehicles were apparently rifled through during the nightie one door left open, the other glove compartment with stuff on seat. No damage or theft… should have had them locked..complacency

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is requesting information about a suspicious incident that occurred between Saturday 12/9 and Tuesday 12/12 on the east side of Cherry Creek State Park, near the 12-Mile North Parking Area. The remains of a deer carcass were discovered that may have been involved in a poaching incident. We're looking for information from anyone who may have been in the area Saturday through Tuesday and witnessed anything out of the ordinary. Decent Bagel

We live on the northern edge of the county, so we go into Nederland a lot. It's a great little town and is continuing to grow and meet local needs! If you're that way, I recommend a Bagel from Decent Bagel, lunch at Crosscut, and a latte from Salto to keep your hands warm while you walk around the local shops. Someone mentioned the holistic homestead, which is awesome! Nederland has the people's co-op which is very similar, between the two of them we can get almost everything we need. Also, check out the businesses in Rollinsville--Howlin Wind Brewing, Melt Coffee, and Gold Dirt Distillery are awesome establishments for all your beverage needs. On saturdays there is a fantastic food truck, Dynamite Shack, and a wood fired pizza place is opening in the distillery soon! Howlin wind also regularly has live music. I am not really on facebook either, but actually reactivated just for the local groups. FB seems to be more active than nextdoor. The traffic info is useful, and lots of folks post their side hustles/small businesses/local events there!
