CONSTABLES ARREST MALE DRIVER WHO WAS 2 TIMES OVER THE LEGAL LIMIT OF ALCOHOL On May 14, 2024 deputies with Constable Mark's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 13300 block of Spring Cypress Road. The driver displayed multiple signs of intoxication. A series of Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that he was intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that his alcohol content was 0.205, over twice the legal limit. "He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. We’ve had cases where the scammers would pose as HCSO deputies, and contact victims by phone, claiming they have arrest warrants for missing jury duty. They then coerce victims into paying fines to avoid arrest, often through unconventional methods like gift cards or Bitcoin. If you believe you're a victim of this type of scam, please call 713-221-6000. Remember, the HCSO will never contact you by phone for missing jury duty. CY-FAIR FIRE DEPARTMENT

We have recently been made aware that there is a male in the Fairfield area, Academy to be exact, that has been trying to break into vehicles. This person was wearing a shirt from the Cy-Fair Fire Department. This person is not and has never been a member of our department. Some of our members have recently had their vehicles broken into and have had their uniforms stolen. If you see anything while you are out that seems suspicious, please contact the police.

HARRIS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Harris County Sheriff's Office units are investigating a major crash in NW Harris County, outbound lanes of US-290 near Beverly. Possibly involving three vehicles, including a large truck and an RV. Due to oil, gas, and propane tank being involved, a Hazmat team has responded. All lanes are shutdown, starting from the Roberts exit ramp to the entrance ramp. Crash site is spread over approximately 300 yards. One person has been transported to a hospital, but it does not appear that anyone sustained serious injuries. ________ En Español: Unidades de la Oficina del Alguacil del Condado Harris están investigando un choque grave en el noroeste del condado, carriles de salida de la US-290 cerca de Beverly.
