Bio

Carlos Isaías Morales Williams (born December 3, 1993), known professionally as Sech, is a Panamanian singer, songwriter and producer of reggaeton and dancehall. Born in Rio Abajo, Panama, Sech rose to fame in 2018 after the release of his first debut single “Miss Lonely” alongside Justin Quiles and De La Ghetto. The song won him a recording contract with Rich Music.

Sech was born in a small town in Panama City. His maternal grandparents were French. He was introduced to music thanks to his family. His family was part of the church band and learned to play piano, guitar and bass, among other instruments. His father was a chef and his mother was a school principal.

Sech chose his stage name. He explained that a friend suggested using the name “Sech” because it was better and would be very hard on the minds of fans. He did not know what his artistic name meant, until one day he decided to investigate and realized that they were the initials of the “Society of Writers of China (SECH)”, this made him feel that he had chosen the correct name because it represented a society of creative people.

The single “Miss Lonely” opened the doors internationally. He wrote the song with his guitar at the entrance of his house. The song caught the attention of multi-platinum artists Justin Quiles and De La Ghetto.

The young artist understands that his musical influences come from Drake, Justin Bieber and Marc Anthony. Football fan the producer is also proud of the Panama National Team that won its first qualification in the 2018 World Cup on the biggest football stage.
