About the Plant
As nitrogen fertilizer accounts for 60 percent of the world’s fertilizer use, our OCI Nitrogen Iowa facility plays a pivotal role in reducing U.S. dependence on imported fertilizers and reducing costs for U.S. farmers.
OCI Nitrogen Iowa is the first greenfield world-scale nitrogen fertilizer plant built in the U.S in nearly 30 years. The plant is one of the largest nitrogen fertilizer plants in the country and harnesses cutting-edge technologies to fuel and nourish America responsibly.
