What new business would you like to see in Lakewood's former QFC?

A troubled Lakewood shopping center has a new future full of possibilities, according to the Tacoma News Tribune.

Lakewood Colonial Center on Bridgeport Way SW was recently purchased for $8 million at a foreclosure auction and developers have said they plan to remodel the old QFC grocery store, a 25,500-square-foot building that has sat vacant since April 2010.

Westwood Financial Corp., the LA-based company that now owns the site, told the TNT that possible tenants could be a new grocery store, or maybe a fabric shop or sporting goods store. The company would also consider building apartments on the site.
