The first trailer for High School, the new TV drama based on Tegan and Sara’s memoir of the same name, is here. Check it out below. The coming-of-age series stars Railey and Seazynn Gilliland as Tegan and Sara, with Clea DuVall serving as executive producer, co-writer, director, and co-showrunner. Tegan and Sara are also executive producers on the show. The series premieres October 14 via Amazon Freevee.

Produced by Amazon Studios and Plan B Entertainment, “High School is a story about finding your own identity—a journey made even more complicated when you have a twin whose own struggle and self-discovery so closely mimic your own,” according to press materials. “Told through a backdrop of ’90s grunge and rave culture, the series weaves between parallel and discordant memories of twin sisters growing up down the hall from one another.”

Tegan and Sara’s latest album, 2019’s Hey I’m Just Like You, accompanied their memoir and featured re-recordings of songs they wrote in high school. Coming up, the duo will issue Crybaby on October 21.
