U.S. true-crime network Investigation Discovery has set a premiere date for the new docuseries The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, which will run across three consecutive nights on ID beginning May 29.

The series covers the story of Natalia Grace, who was initially believed to be a six-year-old Ukrainian orphan with a rare bone growth disorder, and who was adopted by Kristine and Michael Barnett in 2010. But the Barnetts later alleged that Natalia was really an adult posing as a child, and that she was threatening to harm the couple. In 2013, Natalia was discovered to be living on her own, leading to an investigation into allegations of neglect.

The whole, complicated story is laid out in the new series produced by Hot Snakes Media, which includes interviews with members of Natalia’s adoptive family, including Michael Barnett and his brother Jacob, as well as relatives, friends, legal experts, and the Barnett family’s neighbors.
