Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) announced on Sunday that its chief ministerial candidate Isudan Gadhvi will contest from Khambhaliya seat in his home district Devbhumi Dwarka.
In a video statement issued on Sunday, Gadhvi said he will file his nomination papers on Monday after visiting Sonal Mata temple.
“Isudan Gadhvi, who for years raised his voice for farmers, unemployed youth, women, businessmen, will contest election from Jam Khambhalia! Gujarat will get a new and good chief minister from the holy land of Lord Krishna,” Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
Gadhvi, a former journalist, was named the party’s CM candidate on November 4.
