Knaphill Scout HQ is a great place for a kids party. It’s in its own grounds with plenty of parking, and has just enough space for one of our brilliant kids driving activities. Every party we’ve held there has been a happy party – and has worked well.
We’re going to set expectations and say that the hall isn’t the most salubrious – it’s very functional though, and we recommend selecting our bunting to give it a little more Za Za Zoom. The large hall is 18mx10m with a stage and a sprung wooden floor, but that’s a little deceptive because there are large electric heaters which protrude, eating into the space. Because of the heaters, our track squishes in a bit and elongates a little – so there isn’t a huge amount of space left – just enough for the waiting kids. However, there is a smaller hall (7mx7m) and a large kitchen where parents can while away the time and talk, and of course the smaller room can be set up as a dining room for the party food – which we totally recommend. There is also a small foyer into which the waiting kids can overspill.
