Biography

SENIOR (2022-23) – Played in 31 games and started 30 of them … averaged 9.6 points, 1.4 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game … finished ninth in the Pac-12 with a .381 (51-of-134) clip from beyond the arc … shot 93 of 225 from the field (41%) … scored a career high 23 points in the NIT First Round against Eastern Washington (March 14) … led the team with 31 drawn charges … snagged three steals twice this season (most on the team).

JUNIOR (2021-22) – Played in 35 of 37 games on the year while starting two contests ... averaged 4.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game ... led the team in scoring once netting his first 20+ point performance and first career double-double with 21 points to go with 10 rebounds against Northern Colorado Dec. 18 ... led the team in offensive rating at 118.6 (ranking 134th in the country) ... third on the team on the offensive glass grabbing 8.8% of the o-rbd chances totaling 56 of his 144 rebounds.

SOPHOMORE (2020-21) – Proved himself one of the most efficient Cougars while playing in 19 games with 10 starts despite missing eight games due to injury in the middle of the season ... finished the year averaging 6.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in 23.3 minutes per game ... most efficient shooter from deep hitting 23-of-56 (41.1%) on the year ... scored in double-figures six times including dropping 10 points in back-to-back games against Arizona State to end the year including in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament ... scored a season-high 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting including 4-of-7 from deep at Oregon State, Feb. 6

FRESHMAN (2019-20) – Saw action in 26 games in his first season at WSU…made his collegiate debut against Seattle U (Nov. 7) in the season opener scoring five points and grabbing two rebounds…debuted in Pac-12 play Jan. 2 playing 19 minutes against USC…scored a season-high eight points in the Cougs’ upset of No. 8 Oregon (Jan. 16) including hitting a late three that gave WSU the lead for good…led the team with two four-point plays on the year including in the Pac-12 Tournament against Colorado, scoring six points in 13 minutes…averaged 1.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

HIGH SCHOOL – Spent his junior and senior seasons at JSerra Catholic High School where he averaged 24.2 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game as a senior and 16.1 points and 6.1 rebounds as a junior…was a two-time All-Trinity League honoree, named second team as a junior (2017-18) and first team as a senior (2018-19)…transferred from Corona Del Mar High School in Newport Beach, Calif., where he led the Sea Kings to a 22-8 overall record, averaging 20.2 points and 6.5 rebounds a game as a sophomore…Corona del Mar captured the Pacific Coast League title and advanced to the CIF-SS Division I-A quarterfinals. 

PERSONAL – Born Dennis Thayne Rodman, Jr., April of 2001…mother Michelle Rodman and father Dennis Rodman…younger sister Trinity and older sister Teyana…sister Trinity spent the fall of 2020 with the Cougar soccer team before being selected as the No. 2 pick in the NWSL Draft by the Washington Spirit ... father Dennis Rodman was selected in the second round of the 1986 NBA Draft and went on to win five NBA Championships with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls and was a two-time NBA All-Star…plans to major in communications at Washington State.
