Kayak fishing Santa teresa, Costa Rica
The reef fishing in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica can provide anglers with some of the best fishing opportunities anywhere in the world. Our peak season here is December through April but the waters provide opportunities for traveling anglers all year long. Both fly fishing from the beach and kayak fishing tours with spinning gear are available. We are very pleased to have these tours guided by our good friend, surf instructor, fly fishing wonder, and kayak fishing maniac Dani Rasta. Dani has lived in the area for many years with his wife and daughter and does knows this area like the back of his hand!
TARGET SPECIES: Roosterfish, cubera snapper, mangrove and yellowtail snapper, jacks, bonita, tuna, and more.
TOUR INFO
All kayak tours are done via a tandem kayak with your guide in the back and the angler in the front.
For kayak fishing trips 2 anglers is the max group size. In this case both anglers will be in a kayak with the guide in the back.
Lunch, snacks, and drinks are included.
All conventional fishing tackle like rods, reels, lures, are included in the tour.
We prefer fishing with artificial lures or jigs but can do live bait upon request if available.
Tours will likely take place first thing in the morning but may be based around the tides on certain occasions.
