Jan.22, 2018: “Cleanliness from inside and outside, health automatically will reside both sides.” Little Flower School, Huligudda, Lingsugur had planned to have a day of Shramdhan on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi October 2nd 2017. Since there was continuous rain during those days, finally on October 11th with the cooperation of the T.M.C, Lingsugur we arranged to clean our surrounding and neighbouring colony.
As a preparation our High School students prepared colourful caps with the slogans on cleanliness. We arranged disposal gloves for each child.
At 12.45 we gathered in the school ground. The School cabinet leaders conducted a meaningful prayer service. Then we all took Oath to keep our city and surrounding clean and hygiene. Mr. Jaganath , Health officer, T.M.C. Lingsugur, Mr. Rajgopal, C.A.O were present on this occasion.
The media people were with us till we completed our task of cleaning the Janatha colony, near high way road sides, school campus in and outside.
It was a successful day. The parents of our students and the neighbouring people have greatly appreciated. The School motto is Love & Serve. It was highlighted in the news headlines.
We shall Keep our motherland clean; it keeps us healthy.
