Johnny Kemp, 'Just Got Paid' singer, found dead in Jamaica

Bahamian singer Johnny Kemp, whose hit "Just Got Paid" became a party anthem for the 1980s, was found floating in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Thursday, and officials say they don't yet know what happened.

According to a story from The Associated Press, Kemp, 55, had recently arrived in Jamaica on a cruise ship.

No cause of death has yet been reported.

According to TMZ, Kemp released "Just Got Paid" in 1988. The song made it to #10 on the Billboard charts,and was nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Song.

Kemp was married and had two sons.
