The 604,000-square-foot Vance Logistics Center in Vance, Ala., recently sold.

A cross-dock logistics facility adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Plant in Vance has been sold.

Birmingham’s Highline Real Estate Partners acquired the Vance Logistics Center for an undisclosed amount. Cushman & Wakefield’s Stewart Calhoun and Casey Masters represented the seller, Niantic Partners and Rothschild Capital Partners, in the transaction.

The 604,000-square-foot facility, located at 10095 Brose Dr. in Vance, was built in 2004 and was fully leased to two global logistics companies at the time of sale. The facility plays a role in the Mercedes-Benz production supply chain.

The center, located off Interstate 59/20, has Class A tilt-wall construction, LED lighting with motion sensors, 116 dock-high doors, loading docks on three sides of the building, on-site employee and trailer parking and a guard house.

Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, had revenue of $7.8 billion in 2020.
