If Kacey Musgraves’s Golden Hour is her marriage album and its follow-up, Star-Crossed, is her divorce album, as they’ve been loosely characterized, then it seems that her forthcoming album, Deeper Well, will be a story of healing and coming into one’s own. To promote it, the seven-time Grammy winner, who opened her home to AD in 2022, has curated a “shoppable mood board” of Etsy products that match Deeper Well’s folksy aesthetics as the first phase of a new and ongoing collaboration with the platform. Per a press release, the handpicked items nod to the “items, places, and experiences” that informed the creative process behind the album, which will drop on March 15.

“I’ve gotten older now, I know / How to take care of myself,” the musician sings on the album’s title track. Per its music video and marketing materials for the album, that self-care looks like getting in touch with nature, embracing simple living, and even going so far as tending to Icelandic farm animals. Aesthetically, Musgraves has swapped her rhinestone cowboy getup in favor of a more cottagecore look. On the Etsy mood board, that translates to rustic pottery, whimsical hand-knit accessories, and even antique sourdough starter.

“Etsy is a place I return to for inspiration in many facets of my life, and while making this album I kept saving pieces that felt like a true reflection of where my head was at aesthetically,” Musgraves said in the release. “I hope that through this [mood board] my fans feel connected to me and my music in a real and intimate way.”

Below, we explore a few of the items on the mood board that can be perused at etsy.com/kaceymusgraves while you listen to her new song “Too Good to Be True,” which drops this week.

Mustached Man Face Jug by HighTramp

Are we reading too much into this or does this Mustached Man Face Jug” bear a resemblance to the head of Musgraves’s ex-husband, Ruston Kelly? Either way, we’re glad that the singer’s trademark sense of humor has followed her into her new era.

This 1960s French milking stool looks like it came straight from the “Deeper Well” music video. We can already see it standing in as a rustic plant stand.

Transferring our supermarket-purchased dozen of eggs into a lovely speckled ceramic egg holder might be the closest some of us will get to living out our cottagecore fantasy, but maybe it’s enough.
