A space for creative play and learning
The aim for this project was a kindergarten at harmony with its rich natural surroundings, echoing with the cheers of children playing carefree in safety. The exterior design is typical of a kindergarten, featuring pastel-colored metal panels and roof, wooden exterior walls, and a palette arch with colorful acrylic panels embedded in arch-shaped louvers. Inside, nursery rooms face a wide central corridor, along with a bright Poka-Poka Terrace under a membrane roof and a Book House and Play House for calm, home-like environments. The corridor connects these spaces like a footpath between rice paddies, acting as a changeable multi-purpose space for children to get creative and come up with diverse activities and to get them interacting with one another.
