Bohemian - New York
This is as exclusive as it gets. And it should come as no surprise that Bohemian is shrouded in mystery and privacy as it is situated in NoHo, a landmarked, primarily residential upper-class neighborhood in Manhattan.
In fact, in order to score a reservation at Bohemian, you must know someone who's already dined there. You'd think that an establishment this exclusive would also be out of most people's price range. A recent sample menu, however, revealed that the tasting menu is only $80 per person, which is not even close to the $315 tasting menu you'll find at Eleven Madison Park. Additionally, entrees range from $18 to $30. There are also a few market price dishes.
One of the menu's standouts is a type of wagyu beef called washu, which is served as a burger, a plate of tartare, short-rib sashimi and steak. The steak is always at market price and arrives with potatoes. Other notables include pan-roasted branzino and a pork loin.
