President Obama is making the most of his final days as president of the United States. Over the weekend, he threw an epic goodbye party at the White House, with guests such as Chance the Rapper, Nick Jonas and many more in attendance. Now, it has been revealed that Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder will perform at his farewell address in Chicago on Tuesday night (Jan. 10).
Vedder, a Chicago native, will sing alongside the Chicago Children’s Choir; both are trusted with the task of providing sonic comfort for what will surely be an emotional evening. Aside from the Chicago bond, Vedder is a fitting choice as he also performed at a fundraiser for Obama’s re-election in 2012.
