North Loup State Recreation Area is a small but scenic natural area on the Loup River just north of St. Paul. The area offers opportunities for fishing, boating, hiking, hunting, and camping. The campground features 10 primitive sites for tent, trailer, and RV camping. Amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, drinking water, and vault toilets. The sites are $10 per night and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
