Absolutely perfect location for hiking in the Vosges mountains. The food was superb, and the owners were really nice.

Luxurious place, not quite a bungalow, not quite a tent. Had all the necessary facilities.
Matras was a bit tough for my taste (but taste differs). Excellent place for a nice cycle or hike adventure in the Elzas.
only thing I’d like to see improved is a wifi connection, as cellular service is quite poor at this location. Planning a cycling route was a bit of a challenge. Also, a new cottage is planned in front of the tent, I hope enough privacy remains for the tent!
