Three of us stayed here for a night because one of us had some tough family stuff to attend to and staying at The Malthouse was a nice interval to the difficult parts. Great decor, friendly staff, fantastic food. Really good value room and easy to find. We were able to park overnight at their sister pub just down the road. Good atmosphere. Breakfast was fantastic. The view out from the beer garden is stunning, it's such a pretty town. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were appreciated. Plenty of pillows on the bed and the bedding was lovely too, even the towels were nice and soft. Toiletries provided were nice and the shower was fantastic, excellent water pressure and lovely & warm.
In 5 acres of woodland overlooking the World Heritage Site Ironbridge Gorge, Ladywood House offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes’ walk from the town’s riverside pubs and restaurants.

The town itself is ok, it was our second visit there and we found if you want to eat out, best to go further afield, the Woodbridge Inn at Coalport is worth a visit.
From a historical point of Ironbridge is a very good place to stay,it is very close to Blist's Hill Victorian Village (our 2nd visit) and also the Black Country Living Museum - brilliant. On a previous trip we have been to the Darby House and Ironbridge Museum.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful and if you have time there are some lovely walks to go on.

Give yourself a good few hours to visit Jackfield Tile Museum, it is a real treat. Lots to see in the museum. A church to visit (we didn't have time as we didn't arrive until later in the afternoon) where you could have seen the Tiling used.
We had food at The White Heart and The Malthouse, both were great. But The Malthouse called last orders at 8.00pm on Sunday.
Signage is easy when you know but can be confusing at first. Sat Nav got lost. 20 mile speed limit through town.

We did not access the property. We knew there was no point .
We did not access the property. We knew there was no point . We had to find alternative accommodation at huge cost and inconvenience. The property was up a steep narrow road, unsuitable for people with mobility issues to walk. There was no reference to this on booking.com website. The car park was situated more than a 5 minute walk away at the bottom and over the road. This was impossible for elderly and disabled to walk to and from. Taking the car up and down would have caused stress as the road does not allow for 2 cars to pass. None of this was explained in the information. Our break was ruined because of serious omissions

This was the third time we had visited the area.
This was the third time we had visited the area. Apart from all the museums there is much to see in the area, from various potteries to the Long Mind area of Shropshire - so different from where we live in rural Norfolk.
Comfy room in historic Inn , well located near the river and within walking distance of the famous bridge + local shops. Full breakfast included at sister pub nearby, good value for money. We also indulged in an evening meal at The Swan which was a well loaded plate full at a reasonable price.
In the middle of the night all is still and quiet- we heard owls hooting in the woods across the river + the mighty Severn itself whispering past only about 15 yards away.
We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.
Comfortable cottage, everything provided including tea and coffee with milk in the fridge. The location was perfect, quiet area but with a relatively easy walk to the main attractions of Ironbridge. The information sent prior to our stay was very useful. Although there is no parking at the cottage, there was a parking bay not far away but during our stay there were no available spaces here, luckily we were able to park in the local pub but if this was not an option parking could be an issue for guests.
The hotel is located on the main street and has easy walking to many of the village attractions. You can park at the front to unload cases and there is short term street parking across the road. To have long term parking for the car you need to be on the other side of the famous bridge. It's a few minutes to drive there but just a short walk back. Parking is free after 5.00 p.m. Ironbridge has plenty of local district attractions. Good hotel style breakfast and we had a room overlooking the river.
Friendly, welcoming staff with good local knowledge. Super food - breakfast and evening meals. Quiet location with easy, nice 10 min waterside path walk into town. Good car parking. Rooms were clean and facilities for getting fresh milk and water for hot drinks. Pet-free (good for those of us with allergies, with apologies to dog owners!). Easy access to local areas - the surrounding area is so lovely and plenty for the outdoors, history buffs, and foodies etc.
Everything about our stay was perfect, the hotel is in a great position, it was spotless throughout, very tastefully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable, the en-suite bathroom looked brand new
Full English breakfast was good and the hotel owner was a very pleasant and amicable lady
We would definitely book again without any doubt when staying in Ironbridge 👍🏻
landmark building in Ironbridge practically on top of the bridge. Great for access to the town and nearby attractions.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment. Our room had been completed and was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and with lots of space. Looking forward to returning to see how the project is coming along!
Beautiful stay at The Library House. Sarah and Tim were very welcoming and friendly hosts and their little dog Mabel was delightful. The Eliot Room was spacious and beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the super king sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was generous and delicious and the nearby parking was free with a permit provided by the hosts.
All food (breakfasts and evening meals) was exceptionally good. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The Foundry Master's House is a happy cross between a friendly B&B and a small boutique hotel. The location, a couple of hundred metres from the main Ironbridge Gorge museums and easy walking distance from Ironbridge town, was perfect for our stay.
Location was great with a superb 4 poster bed and nice breakfast in the morning with a nice 1.2 mile walk to the beautiful Ironbridge.
The Black Swan public house was less than 200 metres away serving a great choice of food at reasonable prices.
Local Craft museum and other local attractions nearby.
Everything went well from start to finish, the host sent me a text message on the morning of arrival with a map, so the place was easy to find. It was a perfect location for us as we were attending a wedding in Ironbridge, the reception was at the Best Western hotel which was only 300 yds away!
Absolutely beautiful penthouse, far exceeded our expectations, we will definitely stay again. Even though The Malthouse was closed due to a fire The Bakehouse was untouched and absolutely perfect and breakfast was available for us in the Nearby Swan Hotel, which was also superb.
The room was small but spotlessly clean, comfortable and well cared for. Small bathroom but again perfectly adequate for 2. Really friendly and efficient staff were a credit to the hotel. Great location for visiting Ironbridge, would definitely recommend 😊
The two young men we met when we arrived were friendly and very helpful. Ironbridge is a lovely place and the hotel is ideally situated to enjoy it. The breakfast was very good.
