This was an ideal work/personal break trip, such a lovely friendly hotel, always happy to help and to make my stay very enjoyable. Food was well cooked, service was always with a smile and the room was clean and comfortable. A good location to explore the area, if you’re a walker then this couldn’t be better. I’d happily return, and I will given the opportunity.

Combe House is a stunning country retreat in a quiet wooded valley in the Quantock Hills, England’s first Area of Outstanding Beauty. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation in 18 luxury en suite rooms, including single, double, twin and family rooms. Each of the rooms is individually decorated, with its own unique character and charm. Open daily for lunches, afternoon teas and dinners, the award-winning restaurant uses the finest, freshest seasonal produce available locally to create mouth-watering dishes. The magnificent countryside of the Quantock Hills provides wonderful scenery and a great variety of short and long walks of varying degrees of difficulty.
