Runnerfoot Cottage is quaint and quirky cottage and is delightfully decorated and furnished throughout, on entering the bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor and stairs lead up to a hallway from where you can access the garden terrace which overlooks the village. On the first floor is a peaceful sitting room, kitchen and single bedroom. It is a beautiful little haven for a relaxing holiday. The garden for the property is a small terrace. There isn’t a secure area to let a dog out but plenty of walks very close by. Gilsland is a small village, with an excellent local pub that straddles the border between Northumberland and Cumbria and is situated on the iconic Hadrian’s Wall which is the ideal location for exploring the Eden Valley, the North Pennines and the Scottish Borders.
