Hi and Welcome,set in the picturesque village of hollinsclough ,Longnor right in the heart of the Peak District national park. the hut is a newly built self contained holiday cabin which sleeps upto 2 adults and 1 child and 1 baby. There is a log burner,gas for instant hot water and cooking. separate shower room with toilet sink/shower. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a travel cot if required and a fold out bed for a child. All set in its own grounds with ***spectacular views***

At The hut we believe in being as green as possible and one feature is the off grid solar power supply. There's a flat screen TV with freeview channels and built in CD/dvd player, x8 USB sockets around the hut for charging mobile phones etc. There are a selection of cards and games for a rainy day. The hut has a secure shed for storing bicycles etc. The kitchen area has all the basic items required for a stay Inc twin gas hob/kettle saucepans and cooking utensils/cutlery etc. A large cool box is supplied for chilling food drinks etc and ice can be brought from the village shop,change is left at the hut to buy ice with. Enjoy breakfast at the breakfast bar or outside on the decking area. **we supply new /clean off cuts of wood for lighting the fire however guests need to bring there own logs (no coal allowed)** We have recycling bins and encourage guests to use them accordingly. 🌍

Weather your here for the most peaceful and relaxing break,or temped for the more lively activities hollinsclough and Longnor is central for walking or cycling, eating or visiting the many teas shops and cafes or local pubs. Hollinsclough is overseen by the legendary chrome Hill and a must for any walker, as is the roaches at upper hulme. Leeks historic market town is only a short drive away which passes the roaches and the winking man on route. A short drive in the other direction is the historic Buxton Spa town and all the popular attractions there including the Buxton opera House, pavilion Gardens, pooles cavern to name a few. If it's caves and caverns your after, Castleton is 15 minute drive away boasting amazing views, caves and many other activities along the way. Chatsworth house is only a short drive away exhibiting some of the more finer things in life. Head out towards Ashbourne (15 minutes) and for the thrill seekers is alton towers the well known popular attraction for the whole family. The famous matlock Bath is a personal favourite and a fantastic day out for all.
