November 27, 2022 - Similar to last note, probably a little less fragrant but fresher than a lot of C9dP of the same age.

November 17, 2020 - Quite a pleasant surprise. This Garnacha seems way younger than 17 years. Some classic notes with some black and raspberries, but also some lemon zest. A lighter, but also fresher style than a C9dP. Not bad at all and in a stable constitution. Should easily hold for another 5 years.

November 27, 2017 - Like a spicy wild cousin of CDP, though with lots of poise beneath the vivacious exterior. Prune and leather with licorice and five spice, the fruit is supple and velvety while the storm of savoury and spicy notes stir beneath. There is wonderful structure for a wine of this style, with enough acidity and tannin to hold things together. I imagine this can last another few years, though I don't think it will improve.

July 2, 2016 - This is the second bottle in the last 3 months and I strongly disagree with comments that this is fully mature or over the hill. In fact this wine has lots of nice acidity and extract to keep going for another 3-5 years or more and it wouldn't surprise me if it continues to evolve but even if it doesn't it should drink well for that period. This drinks very similar to a mid aged southern Rhone of good quality with focused dark red fruit and notes of old leather, mint and oriental spices. A superb sweetness of fruit emerges after a solid hr decant. An over achieving wine.

October 12, 2015 - I'm starting to agree with the PR that Spain and/or granache is really up and coming. Nice flavor profile, lots of depth and complexity and good tasting. Not at all over the hill (well stored since purchase), so drink as you will.
