Fairly consistent with previous notes, although not nearly as positive. This wine does have some interesting characteristics to it I suppose, but it felt highly concocted, with somewhat off-putting synthetic flavor on the palate.

This is the wine of hunting in the woods of the Midwest. Woodsy, midwestern forest, black moss, decaying wood, wood smoke, gun flint, salinity, and sunscreen...lots of sunscreen. The sunscreen even comes through on the palate. This wine is weird, but actually offers a decent amount of depth and complexity (albeit in a quirky way). Not sure I would seek out this wine again, but it is interesting to drink and has decent balance. Score partially reflects low expectations for this wine based on the cost.

Cork smelled like milk chocolate and dark cherry molasses The wine had soft tannins, smooth mouth feel, and a slightly caramel taste. A solid second course wine.

Mouth coating flavor and a long finish of dark fruit. EZ buy at $10, better after 60 min and some sediment so decant.
