Why this petition matters
We, the people of Carosucan Norte, of the town of Asingan, province of Pangasinan, petition the Barangay council for the closure of the illegal operation of a Piggery for the following reasons:

Was a subject for closure by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Urdaneta city office.

A "Cease and Desist" order by DENR but not enforced by the previous Barangay Officials.

Operating illegally without Permit from the Municipal Government.

Operating within a residential area contrary to Municipal ordinance.

Health risk to all residents within two kilometer radius of the Piggery as evidence reported to the Barangay health Center.

Unbearable odor emitting from the operation.
We demand that the Barangay Officials put a priority to the closure of subject Piggery for the benefit of all concern citizens.
