Bimini is the most rapidly growing area of the Bahamas, and at the same time the smallest. The only Mangroves left in Bimini, East Wells, that provides the communitie's only protection from hurricanes, and the only natural estuary in a 100 mile radius is threatened. 

These are the same Mangroves that Martin Luther King penned his world changing, "I have a Dream" speech in, and the same area that has been "proposed" for protection for over 30 years. 

Bimini is the only Island chain in the Bahamas without a National Park. 

Please help us urge the Bahamas National Trust and the Government of the Bahamas to create the East Wells National Park, and protect what we have left.
