I, like most Filipinos, tan quite easily. No matter how much SPF I apply on my skin, I always end up bronzed after a couple of hours under the sun. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love having a sunkissed lewk! What I don’t like are awkward tan lines, caused by poor planning when it comes to packing clothes.
Over the years, I have learned that there are essentially two rules to follow so you won’t get awkward tan lines: 1) pack swimwear cut in the same way; and 2) stick to cuts that resemble the clothes you wear on a daily basis. You also have to keep in mind that how the swimsuit looks on your body is a huge factor because it’s also what your tan line will look like after you take that suit off.

I can distinctly remember that I had to wear rash guards so I won’t have to worry about getting a sunburnt back after a long day under the sun.
