School of Pop: Former Billboard Hot 100 star Glenn Medeiros becomes a high school vice principal in Hawaii

Almost 25-years after his 1988 hit 'Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You', became a wedding reception staple, pop star Glenn Medeiros is celebrating after being named vice principal of a Hawaiian high school.

The one-hit-wonder who turned his back on the music world in the 1990s has marked five years at MaryKnoll High School in Honolulu with his appointment at the venerable private coeducational Catholic institution.

No doubt only remembered by parents of his students, Medeiros' song reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also spent four weeks at No.1 on the UK singles chart in July 1988, when the star was only 18-years-old.
